Objectives
- Build solid foundations: anatomy, hygiene, instrumentation and foot pathologies
- Master technical pedicure and spa care (exfoliation, paraffin, hydration)
- Treat ingrown nails (onychocryptosis), onychogryphosis and dystrophic nails
- Use burr/drill work, electric instrumentation and orthonyxia braces
- Manage clinical cases and communicate with healthcare professionals

Module 1 — Introduction to advanced pedicure (100 h)
- History and evolution of professional pedicure
- Professional ethics and theory
- Anatomy and physiology of the foot and nail
- Common nail disorders and pathologies
- Foot skin care: calluses, fissures and fungal infections
- Hygiene, sterilization and biosafety standards
- Instruments and equipment: types, handling and maintenance
- Basic techniques of technical pedicure
- Spa pedicure: concepts, ambiance and treatment protocol
- Exfoliation, deep hydration and paraffin wrap
- Assessment and anamnesis (client history) form
- Supervised practice — simulations and first treatments
Module 2 — Professional practice with supervised internship (100 h)
- Advanced assessment of foot pathologies
- Intervention: ingrown nails (onychocryptosis), onychogryphosis, dystrophic nails
- Orthonyxia braces and nail correctors
- Treatment of deep fissures and calluses
- Burr/drill techniques and electric instrumentation
- Dermocosmetic products and specific applications
- Communication with healthcare professionals (doctors, podiatrists)
- Clinical case management and documentation
- Supervised internship with real clients
- Final theory and practical assessment

Practical information
